Utah Food Security Processing Grant: Open Now Through May 31 - Awards of Up to $200k Available for Utah Food Businesses: The Utah Department of Agriculture and Food is awarding $1,000,000 through the Utah Food Security Processing Grant to Utah-based food and agriculture businesses to increase instate processing of local agricultural products. Grants of up to $200,00 are available. Eligible expenses include equipment for food processing, bottling, cold storage, commodity grading/sorting, washing, labeling, packing, and more. At least $500,00 of funding will ne awarded to meat and poultry business; $20,000 will be awarded through mircogrants of $5,000 or less. The Utah Food Security Grant: is open now through May 31, 2024! This program works to increase the in-state processing capacity of agricultural products grown and raised in Utah.

 

Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity: Grants of Utah businesses are listed here as they become available.

 

Rural Economic Grant - Grant minimum is $50,000 and a maximum of $200,000 with a 30% match requirement. Applications with a higher match will receive higher scoring. Grant recipients must submit to an audit, which may include financial information, payroll reports, signed contract review, or any means necessary to ensure that grant goals and objectives are achieved. Grants are awarded on a post-performance basis. Applications will be received until June 10, 2024. Link to apply
